I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And I need YOUR support.

Did you know? Every minute of every day, a child is admitted to hospital in Australia.

This May, I’m taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children.

I’ve set myself a goal to walk or run thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And I need your support.

When you sponsor my challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids and their families. The money you donate will help seriously ill children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.

Hi all, 

I’m Jess and this is my second year taking part. 

In 2023, our lives turned upside down when our little fire cracker, Florence, had a lengthy stay at the Monash Children’s Hospital after being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Juvenile Dermatomyositis and Juvenile Arthritis. 

This lengthy stay meant long days and hours of fearing the unknown, but visits to and from Starlight Children's Foundation Australia made  Flo’s experience a little less tedious. 

The joy and genuine care the Captains give children is so heartfelt, and as a parent, seeing Flo smile during this time was all we needed to get through our day.

It’s so wonderful to see everyone getting onboard and getting your steps up for such a wonderful cause 💜🦄
