I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation

This May, I’m taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children.

I’ve set myself a goal to walk or run thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And I need your support.

When you sponsor my challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids and their families. The money you donate will help seriously ill children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.

About Me

Hello,

My name is Knox Brookfield and I am 8 years old. With the support of my Aunty Kylie I am hoping to raise funds for the Children's Starlight Foundation by doing the 10,000 steps a day during May.

I feel sad that there are sick kids in hospital and hope to brighten their day. Last year I was in the Royal Children's Hospital having arm surgery on Good Friday so I got to see so many of the kids smile from the donations the hospital receives and although I know research is important so is having fun and this is how the Starlight Foundation helps during their hospital stay.

I like to be outdoors rather than inside but at the moment I have a broken collar bone from footy so walking outside everyday helps kids at the same time and means a lot to me.

Any donations no matter how small will help in such a big way bring a smile to sick children.

I'm looking forward to this journey and will keep you all updated.
