I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And I need YOUR support.

I’m raising money for the Starlight Foundation because no child should face pain, fear, or hospital walls without a little light to brighten their world. I’ve seen how powerful joy can be — how a single smile, a moment of laughter, or a magical distraction can give a sick child the strength to keep fighting. Starlight doesn’t just support sick kids — they remind them what it feels like to live, not just survive.

These moments of happiness mean everything to children and their families. They are fighting a fight they should never have to fight. It will shock you what these moments of joy do for their physical health. 

I have been working with young kids for many years and it is a honour to share in their memories. I want the same joy for these kids who are stuck in hospital.

1st day excitement

Thursday 1st May
Today is the first day and of course I'm still recovering from a cold and my walking partner my doggo Lilo is injured temporarily so she is resting. This will not stop me getting my steps today. I am getting up every 30 minutes and doing laps of the house or until I run out of breath hahah. I am having some dancing with music to help my doggos mood.  It helps that the mind is foggy from being sick as it means I forget what I got up to get so I walk double. I feel so excited that I'm doing my part for the kids.
