When Susan was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes it was her worse nightmare. She has a severe phobia of hospitals and needles and suddenly she was stuck in hospital getting multiple needles a day.

When Nick was hospitalised, having a break in the Starlight room helped us all to have something to look forward to

Thank goodness for the Starlight foundation who made such a huge difference to our whole family, children and adults alike. Truly is the best thing I've seen for helping sick kids. That is why when I heard of this walking challenge, I jumped at the opportunity.

Susan and Nick will be my (not so little) supporters along the way as they feel a strong affection for Starlight themselves. So please, if you can donate even a little, my family would be very grateful as will all the sick kids.
