Revenue Accounting is stepping up for Starlight (yes, this is a balanced decision)
Did you know? Every minute of every day, a child is admitted to hospital in Australia.
So naturally, the Revenue Accounting team has decided the best response is to… walk it off. Extensively.
This May, we’re taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation—because even we know some things matter more than month-end close (we checked).
As a team, we’ve committed to walking or running thousands of steps every single day for a month. That’s right—while we usually deal in accruals, deferrals, and things that don’t physically hurt, we’re now attempting to reconcile step counts, amortise our energy levels, and avoid a full write-off of our legs by week two.
Expect daily variances, questionable forecasts (“I’ll definitely hit 10k today”), and at least one of us trying to capitalise steps as breakage.
But jokes aside—this is the important part:
