I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And I need YOUR support.
Did you know? Every minute of every day, a sick child is admitted to hospital in Australia.
Unfortunately our 7yo daughter Poppy is one of them. She has spent over two months at the Royal Children’s hospital over the past year, not including her ongoing monthly treatment and regular tests and appointments. Every time we are at RCH Poppy just wants to go see the “superheroes” at the Starlight Express Room.
This May, I’m taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for sick kids.
I’ve set myself a goal to walk or run 10 thousand steps every day, for an entire month, regardless of hospital days or lack of sleep (iykyk), so I need your support.
When you sponsor my challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids like Poppy, and their families. The money you donate will help create a space in the hospital where kids can be kids and families can feel less alone. To be able to take Poppy down to the Starlight Express Room at RCH saved us some days. They were able to offer fun and entertainment, when as a parent we were pouring from a completely empty cup.
Any amount you can spare will help brighten kids’ lives when they’re going through tough times in hospital. Can I count on your support?
