The Mapstone Miracle-Makers

Nine months ago, our beloved Charlie went to bed with a headache and woke up with a seizure that led to emergency brain surgeries and a brain tumour diagnosis. At just 17, she went from looking forward to graduating high school to undergoing rigorous treatment for an aggressive cancer. 

Along the way, the Starlight Foundation has helped support her and the family at a very difficult time. Wonderful doctors and nurses and PTs and volunteers have all played a part. 

We're taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children.

We’ve set a goal to walk or run thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And we need your support.

When you sponsor our challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids and their families. The money you donate will help seriously ill children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.
