I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And I need YOUR support.

I thought I'd share a quick story as to why this incredible organisation means so much to me. 

10 years ago my daughter Olivia was just 18 months old, and diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer. Just days after the diagnosis, Olivia commenced chemotherapy which meant hospital stays every week for the next 9 months. It was during this time that my family discovered Starlight. 

Starlight were a source of some much needed smiles and laughter while Olivia was at her worst. The Starlight Express are rooms filled with fun and laughter, providing much needed respite for kids to escape the reality of a hospital stay. Captain Starlight never failed to bring a smile and laugh to Olivia, no matter the day. 

For these moments of joy, I will be eternally grateful to Starlight, and I'm glad that I have the opportunity to participate in Super Steps to give even just a little back - and all I have to do is a few extra steps each day.
