Our family are raising funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation on behalf of our daughter, Margot

Many of you may know our 4 year old, Margot, has frequent stays in hospital due to her brain condition hydrocephalus. This has included 7 brain surgeries and countless MRIs since she was one.

Our longest stay in hospital has been for just over one month.

The Starlight Foundation have been an invaluable source of happiness and support for Margot and our family during these stressful periods. The Starlight room provides a safe space in hospital where Margot can play, make friends and just be a kid.

The Starlight Captains are also so wonderful for her mental health. They have made special crowns to cover her head when it's bandaged, decorated her hospital room when she's been unable to get out of bed, and set up endless games of hide and seek and scavenger hunt for her.

This May, our family are taking on the Super Steps challenge to give back to Starlight and raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children.

We've set ourselves a goal to walk or run thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And I need your support.

The money you donate will help seriously ill children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.

Any amount you can spare will help brighten kids’ lives when they’re going through tough times in hospital.
