Taking Steps That Matter 💛
Tuesday 7th Apr
Every minute in Australia, a child is admitted to hospital.
That’s not just a statistic that’s a family’s world changing in an instant.
I keep thinking about what that moment must feel like.
The uncertainty. The fear. The long days and sleepless nights.
And for the child being in an unfamiliar place, away from home, routines, and everything that feels safe.
It’s something no family should have to go through alone.
That’s why this May, I’ve decided to take on the Super Steps Challenge.
For 31 days, I’ll be pushing myself to walk or run thousands of steps every single day. Not just for fitness, but for something so much bigger than me to help make hospital a happier, less overwhelming place for seriously ill children and their families.
Because while I can’t change their diagnosis, I can be part of changing their experience.
I’ve set a goal to raise $1,000.
And honestly, it doesn’t take much to get there.
If 1,000 people donated just $1, we would hit that goal.
Just $1 something most of us wouldn’t even think twice about.
But together? That small amount becomes something powerful.
Your donation helps bring moments of joy into really tough days.
It helps create comfort in environments that can feel scary and overwhelming.
And it helps families feel a little less alone during some of the hardest times of their lives.
This challenge is also personal in another way it’s about showing up, staying consistent, and doing something every single day that contributes to something meaningful.
Some days will be easy.
Some days won’t.
But every step I take is a reminder of why I started.
So I’m asking if you can, please be part of this with me.
Whether it’s $1 or more, every single donation matters.
And if you’re not in a position to donate, even sharing this helps more than you know.
💛 Let’s turn small steps into something life-changing.
