Did you know? Every minute of every day, a child is admitted to hospital in Australia.
This May, I’m taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds that will make hospital a happier place for seriously ill children.
I’ve set myself a goal to walk or run thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And I need your support.
When you sponsor my challenge, you’ll help create much needed happiness for sick kids and their families. The money you donate will help seriously ill children cope better with the pain and stress of treatment, and helps families feel more connected and positive about what lies ahead.

The Captain Starlight difference
Thursday 23rd Apr
Thea met Captain Starlight at her very first hospital admission, and they have been there to greet Thea and our faimily at every admission since.
When Thea faced the fear of her first surgery, Captain Starlight sang to her as she was put to sleep. And Captain Starlight was back by Thea’s side throughout her recovery to help her deal with the pain and stress of losing her eye.
For Thea, the most difficult part of her treatment is the painful stinging eyedrops she has at every checkup. But as long as Captain Starlight is there to support her with the positive distraction she needs, Thea is always happy to go along.
In fact, despite the distress and sting of her eyedrops, MRI's, EUA's and many more uncomfortable medical procedures, Thea LOVES going to the hospital!
