This May, Iā€™m taking on the Super Steps challenge to raise funds for seriously ill children.

Iā€™ve set myself an ambitious goal to walk, run or maybe roll (?) thousands of steps every day, for an entire month. And I need your support.

Dear friends & colleagues,

For the month of May 2026, me and my project team-mates have decided to stepped up, joined the Super Steps, Starlight Children's Foundation to raise money for sick kids doing it tough!

We truly believe that every kid deserves to be happy!

Any money you donate helps & collectively, we can make a difference. Even a slight difference brings light, comfort and smiles to these seriously ill children.

With ONLY 3 more days to go, this will be my last post.

Whilst I acknowledge and thank all of my friends, colleagues, family & Contractors who have donated generously, I would also like to express my heartfelt thank you to Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure, Mark Bruzzone, CEO, and especially Belinda Ivory, EA to the CEO, for their incredibly support and generous donation to The Pitt Crew in support of Super Steps for the Starlight Childrenā€™s Foundation.

This support for sick kids and their families is truly appreciated, and it is especially encouraging to see leadership at the highest level stepping forward to back such an important cause. Acts of generosity like this not only make a real difference but also inspire others across the industry and management teams alike to follow suit and support the amazing work being done.
With two generous sponsors now committed to tripling all donations made up to $80K, there has never been a better time to get behind this great cause and help create even more smiles for sick kids.

20260524 - The Struggle is Real... One last push!

Sunday 24th May
The struggle is real...

I wasn't feeling a 100% on Thursday and have only stepped 6,502 steps. However, on Friday, I was determined to complete my targeted 10,000 daily steps and stepped 14,589 steps to make up for Thursday.Ā 

Over the weekend, my wife joined me on my journey and cheered me on my walk to achieve 10,000 steps.

This made me think - even as adults, when we fall sick, the struggle is real - what more so for these sick kids!

This will be the last week and my final plea for donations from everyone that I know who would like to donate and support me on this great cause!

As proud as my wife is with my efforts, I am going against her advice and upping my goal one last time from the initial $750 āž”ļø $1,888 āž”ļø now $2,888 ā€¼ļø

With all hopes, believe & efforts poured in, Iā€™m hopeful that I can, with one last leap of faith, help raise money for a good cause!Ā

Friday 8th May

Collectively, with support from everyone that have donated to me, I am super proud that we have moon-walked past my $750 goal and landed at $1,146 within the 1st week!


Why aim for the stars when we can aim for the moon!

20260507 - Pushing boundaries!

Thursday 7th May
Pushing boundaries? ... you ask? On many fronts, today seemed to be it...

Pushing through workload across the line...
Pushing through exhaustion, hitting the gym to clock up 10K steps...
Pushed myself to start jogging instead of just walking on the treadmill...
Surprised to received more donations pushing my envelop over $1,000 mark...

I hope that by me doing what I do, demonstrate my determination and to encourage all my friends, colleagues, Contractors, Suppliers & family to support me for this great cause!

After a long day at work and only clocking under 2,000 steps, it was a challenge to be motivated to keep going.
