I’m fundraising for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. And I need YOUR support.
I’m taking part in this fundraiser for someone incredibly special to me — my sister, Phoenix.
She’s just 17, turning 18 this July, and already she’s faced challenges most people couldn’t imagine. Phoenix lives with Cystic Fibrosis — a condition that never pauses, never gets easier, and requires strength every single day.
But she is not defined by her illness.
She is strong. She is resilient. She is full of light.
She is Phoenix — always rising, no matter what she’s up against.
There are so many parts people don’t see — the exhaustion, the pain, the hospital stays, the quiet fights behind the scenes. And still, she keeps pushing forward. Watching her do that has changed me in ways I can’t fully explain.
That’s why this means so much to me.
In Australia, every minute of every day, a child is admitted to hospital.
This May, I’m taking on the Super Steps challenge — committing to walking or running thousands of steps every day. Not just for fitness, but for something bigger. For her. For kids like her.
While Phoenix is my reason, the funds raised will go to the Starlight Children’s Foundation — helping bring moments of joy, comfort, and distraction to seriously ill children and their families.
Because hospitals can feel overwhelming. Lonely. Scary.
And every child deserves to feel happiness, even in the middle of it all.
Your support helps create those moments.
It brings smiles during the hardest days.
It gives families a sense of hope when they need it most.
This is for Phoenix.
And for every child fighting battles we don’t always see.

Why “Phoenix’s Army”...

I chose the name Phoenix’s Army because it represents so much more than just a team — it represents her.
My sister is part of cadets and has big goals for her future. She wants to go into infantry, and maybe even become a commando one day. That kind of ambition, discipline, and strength says everything about who she is.
Calling this team an “army” felt right — because this challenge isn’t something I’m doing alone. It’s about people coming together, standing side by side, and pushing forward with purpose.
And “Phoenix” isn’t just her name — it’s what she does every single day. No matter what life throws at her, she keeps getting back up. She keeps going.
So Phoenix’s Army is about that strength. That resilience. That mindset of never giving up.
It’s about showing up, taking each step together, and fighting for something bigger than ourselves.
And I couldn’t think of a more fitting name.🔥

I created Phoenix’s Army for a reason that’s very close to my heart. This journey isn’t just about steps or distance — it’s about showing up every day with purpose, and being part of something bigger than myself.
Every step we take is for seriously ill children and their families — helping bring moments of joy, light, and comfort during some of the hardest times in their lives.
That’s what this is all about.
